I slil love Sorrento's, but hm, something is amiss in pizza dough land. Lately it's just not the same, it's kinda soggy and thin. Like it can't support the toppings and sauce. Toppings are still good, and the staff is consistently awesome, very nice people!

We've got a lot of Italian heritage in our family and have tasted many a pizza, to say the least. Sorrento's is, by far, the best we've ever come across. Not only are the pizza's at Sorrento's highly recommended, so are the sandwiches and pasta dishes. Everything that our family has ordered from Sorrento's has been absolutely delicious. After recommending this establishment to friends and fellow co-workers, some have driven out of their way just to grab a pizza to take home to the family (in Los Angeles traffic!!!) I think that pretty much says it all!

The pasta was great. I love the meat sauce because it tastes so good. I would pass on the salad and maybe even the garlic bread and just go straight for the pasta so cut the cost down. The interior is a little 70's style but the food is great.

As the other reviewer said, Sorrento's is a Pedro institution. I'll address their PIZZA, 'cause it's the best! Chewy crust, awesome sauce & a good variety of fresh toppings. They charge a little bit more than the chains, but it is so worth it! One pizza will feed 4 easily, or two with a lot of leftovers. It's an old-fashioned pie with a lot of heft. Just plain delicious

Sorrentos has been in San Pedro forever. They are an institution. Their food is always right on and really bountiful for surfers, dockworkers and college professors alike. Love their rigatoni.
